The Eco-Kinetic is one of the lowest priced less-lethal projectiles available. More importantly, its water-solubility leaves no trace after outdoor use—you no longer need to clean up the remnants of plastic shells after each range session. Simply hose down the practice area with water or just leave it for mother nature to handle.
The Eco-Kinetic projectiles also feature Byrna’s proprietary VI (Visual Impact) Technology that produces a small dispersion cloud and leaves a highly visible mark where the target is hit.

To be environmentally friendly, these projectiles are water-soluble and will begin to dissolve upon contact with moisture. If exposed to humidity in the air, these rounds begin to swell and degrade, which can eventually lead to jamming and feeding issues when fired from our launchers. Leaving them inside the launcher can cause them to swell and jam due to humidity. The best practice to prevent this from happening is to keep the projectiles tightly sealed until just before use, and to limit their exposure to open air as much as possible when waiting to be fired.
The eco rounds are designed to be an inexpensive, practice only projectile that allows you to shoot with no cleanup required. The projectiles are not as accurate as the other options due to the ring in the middle that is formed due to the manufacturing process. Accuracy was not the main focus in designing these projectiles. Cost per round and the easy cleanup were the main priorities.

We recommend storing the Eco-Kinetics in the container they come in. Storing them in the magazine could result in moisture from the environment coming into contact with the Eco-Kinetics and possibly causing issues. We recommend the solid gray Kinetics instead.
